                                    About Tracy Peloquin

Tracy Peloquin is a LEVA Certified Forensic Video Analyst and experienced expert witness specializing in forensic video and image analysis for criminal and civil litigation. With more than 30 years of professional experience, Tracy provides objective, science-based analysis that is clear, defensible, and prepared to withstand courtroom scrutiny.

Tracy retired from the Ontario Provincial Police in 2021 after 32 years of service. She has worked in the field of forensic video analysis since 1992, when the OPP implemented its first forensic video system. Her career spans the examination, enhancement, interpretation, and comparison of video and image evidence in high-stakes investigations.

She is extensively trained in the science of forensic comparison, including video and image comparison, fingerprint analysis, footwear examination, and physical matching. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminalistics and an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement, combining academic training with decades of applied forensic experience.

Following her retirement, Tracy founded Peloquin Forensics, a forensic consulting company providing independent forensic video and image analysis and expert testimony in criminal and civil cases worldwide. She works closely with legal counsel and investigators to present technical findings in a clear, accurate, and court-ready manner.

In addition to casework, Tracy has been a LEVA (Law Enforcement and Emergency Services) Level 3 Lead Instructor since 2018 and is a co-instructor for LEVA Level 4 since 2024, contributing to the training and professional development of forensic video analysts internationally.
